Summary of duties
- Managing the Accounts email address
- Accounts payable – processing all purchase invoices and managing timely payments
- Setting up new suppliers
- Raising purchase orders
- Accounts receivable – raising monthly sales invoices
- Managing credit control
- Processing credit card transactions
- Liaising with the office manager to process staff expenses
- Bank reconciliation
- Processing monthly journals, prepayments and accruals
- Inputting information into cashflow spreadsheets
- Inputting information into monthly management accounts
Person specification
- Experienced bookkeeper
- Working on Xero essential
- Good understanding of Excel essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage workload in order to meet monthly deadlines
- Happy to work independently as well as within a team
We’re looking for a part-time bookkeeper to support our operations team with a range of duties.
This role would ideally look for someone to work circa 15 hours per week and can be flexible regarding how these are spread. It is a contract role and is fully remote but with the option to come and work from our Clifton office as and when desired.
