A permanent opportunity has become available with Superior Body Shop for a bookkeeper. Managing accounts receivable, month-end closing, accounts payable, and reconciliation are important tasks in the Bookkeeper role.
How you will make an impact
- Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
- Uphold monthly accounting close
- Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
- Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
- Group sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
- Produce cash flow projections, as needed
- Direct monthly accounting close
- Handle Accounts Receivable
- Other unique projects when they come up
- Sustain Accounts Payable
- Maintain general ledger
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
- Be detailed, flexible, and organized
- Bookkeeping experience desired
- Strong familiarity with Credit Card Reconciliation
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
- Knowledge of bank reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience highly desired
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Need to Have:
3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Quick Books
Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Willingness to learn and grow with the company
Strong attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
