Bookkeeper Job Description for Escape60:
Candidates for bookkeeping positions should have solid communication, organizational and customer service skills. Must have a working knowledge of QuickBooks but may include proficiency with such applications. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected. Bookkeeping for Escape Room/Bar Business.
Typical Duties of a Bookkeeper:
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing bank reconciliations and payroll processing
- Posting journal entries
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Organizing File Room
Tasks
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
