Job description
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and bookkeeping. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills.
P & T Motors Ltd is located in the heart of Leigh. With over 50 years experience the office is looking for an enthusiastic and open minded individual to manage the finances of a very busy MOT, Service and repair workshop.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Experience working on finance systems (sage).
- Flexibility in working practices to ensure all deadlines are met
- Effective time management and a good team player
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good level of computer literacy
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work accurately and calmly, and show resilience, when under pressure
- Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues within the business and with key contacts in other organisations; have a proven ability to work as a member of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
Salary: From £25,000.00 per year
