Avaliable Job Today New Interiors is currently accepting resumes for a Bookkeeper’s Assistant to join our Bookkeeping team. You will be responsible for a special project that includes full-cycle bookkeeping, various account reconciliations, and cost code analysis. This is a 3 month contract that can turn into full time work for the right person. This role will be performed at our Office located near Douglasdale SE, Calgary Alberta.
The main responsibilities will be to:
- Using QBOs, post and maintain accounting records.
- Complete a high volume of data entry, bank reconciliations, GL reconciliations and assist with Month End duties as needed.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate any discrepancies.
- Calculate, prepare, and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements, and other financial statements.
- Maintain complete filing system to support financial records;
- Bookkeeper assistant duties: daily projects as required
Preference to Individuals with:
- Minimum 3+ years bookkeeping/QBOs experience
- Must be quick with data entry
- Fast learner and team player
- Excellent computer skills & MS office along with experience with QBO
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills both in oral and written form
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as an active team member
- Demonstrate sound work ethics complimented with flexible work attitude

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
