Kudize Club Ltd are looking for a Bookkeeper.
Kudize Club Ltd provide Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club, plus a Summer Camp for primary aged children in East & West Sussex.
This is a part time position. Salary negotiable depending on experience and any transferable skill sets.
The role mainly involves working remotely, however, as face to face meetings will be required on occasion, this role would suit someone who has easy access to Hassocks and the surrounding area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Payroll
- General bookkeeping using accounting package i.e. xero and booking system MagicBooking
- Bank reconciliation – daily entering of receipts from customers to Xero and MagicBooking.
- Working together with the Directors for profit and loss reports, expense analysis and budget forecasts
- Monthly management accounts
- Credit control
- Dealing with customer booking and payment enquiries
- Childcare grant claims
- Company pension submissions
- P11D’s
- Maintenance of booking system – sorting out payment plans and updating them when necessary.
- Assessing dates of compliance and scheduling accordingly
- Elements of HR
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year experience within bookkeeping/accounts role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail to all aspects of work
- Ability to work independently on initiative with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Able to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft excel, word, Xero, payroll software (not currently provided).
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of bookkeeping in the childcare sector
- Confident using Magic Booking
