About us
In the Black Bookkeeping Services Ltd. is a fast paced, medium sized bookkeeping business in Lumby, BC in operation since 2012. We pride ourselves in providing superior customer service. We provide daily bookkeeping and admin services to our large variety of clients, throughout multiple industries. Although the work environment is strictly remote, we come together as a team through emails, phone calls, and video meetings/trainings sessions.
Under the supervision of the owner, you will have your own set of clients to perform daily admin/bookkeeping tasks, with monthly GL account reconciliations, and preparation of payroll source deductions, GST, PST & WCB remittances. Some clients will also require weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll.
Looking for Full-Cycle Bookkeeper with current Quickbooks Online experience to work Full Time who is a reliable, detailed individual with great time management, and the ability to think outside the box
**There is 3 - 4 weeks of IN-OFFICE training before becoming remote
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 1 to 2 years current Quickbooks Online experience
- Atleast 2 years current full cycle bookkeeping experience in a multi-client fast paced environment
- Previous experience with payroll is an asset, but willing to train
- Experience working in a fully virtual office is an asset
- Previous working knowledge of Microsoft office one drive is an asset
JOB TASKS:
- Accounts Payable including coding, posting, and generating payments.
- Accounts Receivable
- Monthly Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and all other Balance Sheet/P&L accounts.
- Payroll
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Administrative tasks as needed for each client
- Prepare GST, PST, WCB, & Payroll Source Deductions Remittances for supervisor
