Job description
We are looking for an organized individual to join our office/admin team. The job will include bookkeeping (using Quickbooks) and other secretary tasks, which may include general receptionist duties, communicating with customers, assisting in creating shipping quotes, packing and shipping orders, help pack/unpack for tradeshows, and providing support as needed with various other projects. We are a small but rapidly growing family-run business ready to expand our crew.
We would expect the hiree to be self-motivated, organized and able to take initiative in the workplace. It would be an asset to us if the individual had experience or training in bookkeeping, logistics coordinating or computer skills, though it is not necessary. Strong communication skills, good work ethic, team participation and ability to be flexible are also required. The ideal candidate would have experience (or at least interest in) Canadian agriculture.
Our business is located on a rural property near Brownfield, AB. We have a small store on our property and hope to find someone who can be here consistently during office hours.
