We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our busy Practice based in Crosby.
In this position you will be tasked with helping clients maintain their bookkeeping records which will include meeting with clients when required. You must be an experienced bookkeeper who has previously used online accounting software packages, and ideally have worked in an accountancy practice. In return you will work in a friendly and supportive office, where staff development is encouraged.
As a Bookkeeper you will be responsible for the following: -
Responsibilities
Bookkeeping in Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Prepare the nominal ledger to trial balance stage
Maintain ledgers via Xero
Complete bank reconciliations
Dealing with ad-hoc queries that arise from your main duties
Key Skills
Previous experience using Xero is preferred
Sage
QuickBooks
IT Skills
MS Office
A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet knowledge up to intermediate level
AAT (desirable but not essential)
