Assistant Accountant
Great opportunity to join a fast-growing company in developing an in-house finance function. The role would assist the finance function with day-to-day transaction processing and prepare the monthly management accounts.
Fast-growing business with offices in Chelsea Harbour, London.and Bromley
The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the day-to-day transactions of the group and subsidiary accounts.
 - Processing of monthly close journals
 - Raising invoices and credit control
 - Prepare bank reconciliations and management of payment services
 - Prepare weekly cash reports
 - Setting up payment instructions
 - Quarterly VAT submissions
 - Payroll and pension administration
 - Compile and analyse data in preparing the monthly management accounts
 
The successful candidate will:
- Strong transactional accounting expertise as well as the ability to assist with management accounts Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 - Highly organised and reliable with strong attention to detail
 - Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and must have Xero accounting software experience.
 - Have strong communication skills

Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £15,000.00-£18,000.00 per year

Education:
- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
 
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
