We are a small relaxed friendly company based in Reading Berkshire and are looking for an accounts assistant/book keeper to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and up for a challenge to take on this multiskilled role.
This can be a hybrid or remote position with hours to suit.
We are looking for an experienced accounts administrator to join our small team in Reading. Hours are flexible and we can offer Hybrid or working from home for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Accounts Payable and receivable, invoice processing.
- Perform Bank reconciliations across various currencies, GBP, USD, EUR, NOK
- Processing of expenses/ credit card receipts.
- Complete Month and Year End process.
- Create and balance Journals, prepayments and accruals.
- Processing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns.
- Monthly Payroll including year-end process.
Skills:
- Must have relevant accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly team player.
