Job description
Bulwick Estates was founded in 1619. We are a rural estate encompassing agriculture, forestry and property. We currently let 40 residential properties, eight offices converted from stone barns and various other commercial enterprises.
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated part-time bookkeeper / administrator for 20-28 hours per week to join our team for approximately six months to cover a period of absence.
Responsibilities of the Role
· Management of purchase and sales ledgers including inputting of supplier invoices and processing payments, deposits and reconciling bank statements for 5 entities on Landmark Key Prime Accounts.
· Processing VAT Returns
· Processing payroll and running CIS.
· Management of utility accounts
· Analysing timesheets
· Recharging of insurance, utilities and maintenance costs
· Assist in the management of rented properties including liaising with tenants and use of Landmark Key Prime Property.
Candidate requirements
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
· Knowledge of accounting software preferably Landmark Key Prime.
· At least 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Professional manner and good communicator
