We are a small yet vibrant whisky company with an online, wholesale and retail presence.
This is a new, but integral role, in a small team, and as Bookkeeper / Office Administrator you will have the skills and experience to help manage the financial administration of the business, as well as perform general admin and office duties. You'll have outstanding organisational abilities to keep the office running smoothly and will be professional, accurate and with great attention to detail. Communication is key – so you'll be able to communicate well within a small team.
This is a new role, so we are looking for someone with the ability to use initiative to help cement processes and systems into place.
The key duties will be:
Create and send sales invoices and purchase orders
Maintain the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledgers
Managing Aged debtors & creditors
Bank reconciliation
Provide information to the Financial Director to facilitate the Monthly Management Accounts
Administration - filing and maintenance of files relating to banking, invoices, purchases, suppliers, etc.
Receive stock into system and check for discrepancies.
Using our inventory management platform, 'Unleashed', create Bills of Material and then action the builds for our manufacturing activities.
Complete warehouse stock transfers.
To undertake a rolling Stock Take to ensure records are accurate.
Other general office duties.
A knowledge of Xero, Unleashed, and Excel would be a huge advantage
Bookkeeping experience
Experience of organising export paperwork would be a bonus.

Salary: £22,500.00-£24,500.00 per year
