An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join us as a Bonder/Process Operator in the Bonding team Rolls-Royce Compressor Components SCU at the Ansty Fan Case Facility.
In this role you will be involved in the process of Fan Case Components and associated sub-components through Bonding Value stream across multiple processes including Paint Spraying, internal panel bonding, void filling and Kevlar wrapping. Working in an established team to maintain quality, flow rate and customer deliveries.
As the facility is targeting minimum standards in lean techniques, the role will include integration and delivery of Rolls-Royce Production System (RRPS) tasks which include lean Manufacturing, Asset Care, Visual Management, OEE and Waste Reduction
Working as part of a high performing team, you will be responsible for your own work in a technically demanding aerospace market working to manufacturing/engineering drawings, instructions, specifications & standards.

What you will be doing:
You will have experience working in an Aerospace environment, be self-motivated and be able to work with little supervision as part of an integrated high performing team.
- Application of paint & protective coatings.
- Void filling internal areas of Fan case and associated sub components.
- Bonding of Internal acoustic panels.
- Kevlar Wrap operations.
- Self-certification inspection of operations to ensure they meet quality standard/ drawing requirements.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the process/ cell.
Who we are looking for:

- Good understanding of Paint spraying fundamentals.
- Basic IT literacy including understanding of MES booking system.
- Experience in an Aerospace production environment.
- Able to read and interpret manufacturing engineering drawings, technical instructions and written specifications.
- Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.
- Previously worked in a role requiring good use of hand skills.
