Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic HCPC State Registered Biomedical Scientist to join the Clinical Biochemistry section of our busy, friendly, Blood Sciences department.
The successful candidate will be required to work at both Bedfordshire Hospital Laboratory sites based on service needs, however, initial training will be given at the Bedford site. This will be a great training opportunity to gain specialist knowledge and attain professional development.
Once fully trained they will be expected to participate in the 24/7 shift pattern across both sites where required.
The department has UKAS accreditation, IBMS/HCPC training status and is one of a few organisations to have Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, & Transfusion Science National School of Healthcare Science accredited training status for clinical sciences.
We are committed to developing our services further, through expansion of on-site testing and integration with other services.
This is a one year fixed term position.
