Job Title: Biomedical Scientist (Blood Sciences)
Location: 25 Harley Street, London, W1G 9QW
Salary: negotiable depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Shifts: Monday to Friday.
The Role:
Phoenix Pathology is a small private laboratory and we are looking for a passionate and driven multidisciplinary Biomedical Scientist to join our blood sciences team.
Once trained and signed off, the candidate will work across Haematology, Biochemistry and serology on a daily basis.
Experience reporting blood film morphology, working with Abbott, Sysmex and Alifax are highly desirable skills.

Key responsibilities
- Supervise and provide training to junior staff where required
- book in samples using the LIMS
- running IQC and EQA samples
- analyser troubleshooting
- manage the stock of consumables
- Reviewing and reporting results
- Replying to service user emails
- Be the designated Health and safety officer and fire marshal
Mandatory requirements:
- You must be HCPC registered to be considered
- You must have experience working in a Laboratory based in the UK in the past 12 months.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK. Please note that we cannot sponsor work visas.
