Mediplacements is currently looking to recruit an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a locum vacancy in Kent.
The pay for this position ranges from £26-£28 per hour. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible working full-time.
We require blood morphology and need to be able to start ASAP; in the main this will be a Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm role, but they may be required to start at 8am and/or work late up to 8pm.
The candidate will be responsible for:
The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered and fully competent in Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.

- Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluid
- Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
- Record keeping and quality control
- Providing results and advice to medical staff
- Participating in continuing education and training
