Job description
21D is clinical dentistry business, focusing exclusively on providing our patients with advanced customised, digitally designed and fabricated prosthetics replacing a full jaw of teeth. We are providing our solution to over 50 patients a month at locations in the North and South of England. We believe we are one of the fastest growing healthcare businesses in the UK.
We are running a training program and inviting those with an engineering mindset and background to join our fast-growing team and be immersed in the wonderful world of customised medical prosthetics.
No qualifications or experience in the field of dentistry or medicine are necessary. Recent dental technical graduates are welcome OR university graduates with a background in engineering and or/ science.
We have a highly experienced team that you will work with and will teach you in house.
The right candidates must

- be proficient in the use of computers and handheld devices
- have an aptitude for manually dexterous, precise work
- have an aptitude for learning new things.

The induction pathway for the first 3 months includes:
simple procedures, involving the medical devices we produce - you will be fully trained on these by people who are proficient in the task, one-to-one.
use of devices to document your work at every stage to facilitate a positive feedback process.
use of advanced, CAD/CAM software for customised prosthetics.
fabrication process of prosthetics, using the most advanced 3-D printing and milling machines.
At the end of this induction period, the successful candidate will move on to the manufacturing and finishing and quality control process for the next nine months.
At the end of the first 12 full months, you should be fully proficient in the entire design and fabrication cycle and quality control processes of our products.
The starting salary is £26,000
Upon completion of the first 90 days and being confirmed as proficient in certain tasks you will move to £32,000
At the successful completion of your first full year based on your performance, you will move to £36,000.
At two years of consistent performance, further advancement and additional remuneration will be available.
