Smart Aviation Maintenance Solutions (AMS) is an MRO located in Toronto, St. Thomas and Barrie Ontario as well as worldwide mobile repair teams. Smart AMS provides component repair and maintenance on a number of different types of aircraft from business to transport category aircraft .

We are seeking an experienced Billing Assisstant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing of customers. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of cost, markup, sell, revenue, advanced skills in MS Excel and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure labour entries, parts and services are entered into proper billing an expense groups.
- Review contracts and verify billing is accurate as per the final agreement with customer.
- Verify labour estimates and flat rates are entered correctly on final invoice.
- Review of parts, outside service, and freight for proper mark up
- Coordinate the closing of open items during and at the completion of projects with other departments.
- Coordinate the closing of work orders, work packages and sales orders.
- Review and monitor work in progress to ensure invoicing is up to date.
- Liaison between maintenance software output data and finance department for final billing.
Experience
Previously experience working within the finance department is a must, any experience within the aviation finance field would be considered an asset.
Post Secondary education or college degree
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
