Reporting to the Managing Director this role will work across the business supporting all regions and divisions within our business, managing the end to end process from bid pursuit decisions to planning and responding to all qualitative areas of tender requirements.
You will play a lead role in managing and delivering complex proposals partnering with the Managing Director, pre-construction planners, estimators and subject matter experts to plan and deliver proposals of the highest quality.
The Role
- Management of opportunities from inception including the management of portals, tender documents and queries including external resources and internal CRM.
- Planning and leading qualitative elements of EOIs, PQQs and tenders working with resources from around the business to develop persuasive win themes, storyboard responses and finalising submissions against challenging deadlines.
- Creating and managing a response library and knowledge bank to streamline processes for future responses including case studies for completed projects, skills database and exemplar responses for common topics.
- Authoring, reviewing and editing of all written responses.
The Candidate
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously working against challenging timescales.
- Ability to act autonomously and proactively and engage internal and external stakeholders to solve problems independently.
- Able to work at all levels of the organisation to manage the bid process including senior managers; nurturing contacts and relationships around the business to promote knowledge into the team to be used in all our activities.
- Experience in either the architectural, construction or engineering sector (3 years preferable).
- Ability to digest information quickly and understand the key drivers of questions and client pain points to develop win themes and tender strategies.
- A personable, collaborative and resilient approach.
- Proven ability to demonstrate high competence in writing and desktop publishing (experience of Adobe InDesign desirable).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
