Job description
Working as part of a small development team which combined contribute to the delivery of the Trusts new data warehouse solution and BI Reporting platform.
The post holder will play a key role in developing, maintaining and evolving the business intelligence strategies and processes required to maintain, develop and support the Trusts data warehouse and Business Intelligence analysis, reporting and presentation tools.
They will be responsible for mapping system requirements from the organisation into the IT systems being developed under the project.
The post holder will be involved in the planning, design, and development of highly complex software solutions and the implementation of complex end user reports and data sets. This will require ability to analyse, interpret and resolve highly complex problems, covering a wide range of clinical and business areas including at a county and national level.
The post holder will be involved in the process of recommending and implementing strategic improvements to streamline and enhance existing processes and systems, promoting greater efficiency and effectiveness within the DHC Business Intelligence team.
They will help to determine and implement improvements to departmental data processing and information reporting systems.
The post-holder will form part of the team responsible for the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the data warehouse ensuring high availability for end users and analysts and continued development.
