We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a talented BI Data Analyst to join our Interpreting Division! The role will be predominantly working from home however, we do like to meet in person from time to time so there is a requirement to attend the Leeds office on an ad-hoc basis for meetings, training etc. You will be part of a dynamic and energised team, working in a custom-built technology environment designed to help you thrive.
As a BI Data Analyst you will:
- Helping the Head Of BI/MI in implementing a new Enterprise reporting platform
- Using existing data and any new datasets to give insights to end user departments to allow them to make decisions based on facts and not opinions
- Looking at predictive models so that we can see what the future looks like.
- Analysing data to identify trends and presenting in an easy to understand way
- Pro-actively promote best practice and knowledge sharing
- Proven ability to influence, appropriately challenge and engage diverse senior stakeholders
- Delivery of insights to end users, and their understanding to take actions based on this data
- Accuracy of data provided
- Excellent communicator happy working across all levels.
- Agile experience (SCRUM)
- Passionate about Data and value that it adds to the business
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Strong T-SQL skills
- PowerBI
- Problem solving
It would be desirable (but not essential) if you:
- Industry specific area experience
- Understanding cloud technologies
- Python or any other statistical programming languages
- Any synapse experience would be a distinct advantage
