Business Intelligence Analyst / BI Analyst

Oliver James have been appointed to recruit for a BI Analyst for a leading global Insurance business to join their BI team to translate business requirements to technical requirements, produce reports and MI solutions using Power BI to ultimately help enable the business use data to make better business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and implement MI solutions
• Gather requirements and identify and document reporting requirements
• Maintain existing MI by fixing, enhancing and support customer support activities
• Provide technical support to end users
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Use Power BI to create reports and dashboards and present to stakeholders
• Regularly engage with stakeholders to develop MI solutions

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in designing and producing MI solutions
• Visualisation/dashboard tool experience (Power BI preferable)
• Hands-on experience of database tools/languages (SQL) and querying and extracting data
• Strong experience establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Experience working in Insurance or Financial Services
