Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Student Records, Data and Systems, this is a key role in shaping the future of ICMP.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering business intelligence in direct support of achieving ICMP’s strategic priorities and will contribute towards evidence-based strategic planning and decision-making. The role will be key to the strategic planning and performance monitoring activities of ICMP including projects areas such as Learning Analytics, the future shape of ICMP’s academic portfolio, retention and continuation, performance monitoring, student engagement, and student number planning and forecasting.

The successful candidate will have experience of presenting complex internal and external data effectively using data visualisation technique, working with a wide variety of stakeholders to collect requirements to develop solutions that meet customers’ needs, and experience of providing insight through data analysis for senior managers.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with Business Intelligence tools, ideally Power BI, to create visually engaging interactive reports or dashboards and they will have a good understanding of data quality and the ability to prepare data for analysis by, for example, cleaning, merging, reshaping, and formatting data.

They will have knowledge and experience of project management. In addition, they will have strong interpersonal soft skills and they will enjoy work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders.
