A rare opportunity has arisen for a full time Bereavement Officer within Bereavement Services based at Markeaton Crematorium. The role will involve booking of funeral services, administration of statutory paperwork for burials and cremations, post cremation memorial sales, and occasional chapel duties during funeral services. The role involves working closely with professional service users and bereaved families. The need to work with care, compassion, dignity and upmost professionalism at all times is essential.
