Senior Pensions & Benefits Administrator

This is a new, vital role for Pendragon PLC. You will be joining the HR team, reporting directly into the Reward & Benefits Leader.
You’ll be responsible for providing analytical support and commercial thinking to enable the design, development and delivery of Reward and Benefits initiatives across the business.

What the role involves
- Working within an in-house pension & reward team of 5. You will contribute to the smooth running of the pension schemes by providing end to end administration services
- Deal with all aspects of the administration for one defined benefit pension scheme and two defined contribution schemes, including the preparation and processing of the monthly pensioner payroll.
- Support the HR Transformation agenda, utilising your analytical skills and expertise to step change the Reward and Benefits offering for our business
- Support the design, development, and deployment of short- and long-term reward incentives
- Support the delivery of healthcare, risk, flexible, voluntary and retirement benefits, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation and regulation
- You will use your sound IT and numerical skills in checking day-to-day administration work and carry out complex member calculations.
- You will be able to work to agreed deadlines and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in specific projects, for example GMP equalisation.
Skills:
- Ability to compile, integrate, analyse and present complex data in the most appropriate format and tone depending on the recipient
- IT skills - MS Office skills particularly Excel
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Time management & prioritisation skills
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with team and stakeholders to deliver high quality advisory and technical services
- Project Management and Report preparation
- Knowledge of the Profund pension administration platform is desirable but not essential
Type of experience:
- Experience of operating at an operational level in a DB pension, DC pension or reward team in a complex, rapidly changing environment
- Compiling and analysing data sets using in-house and external databases
- Experience of managing external supplier relationships, monitoring performance against SLA’s, identifying and resolving issues
