The role will have ownership of reviewing, designing, implementation, administration and compliance of employee benefits, retirement, and insurance programs.
It is an exciting opportunity to truly work across multiple countries in a growing company that is embarking on a complete review of its benefits offering. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct a review of existing benefits per country, evaluating their effectiveness, cost, and competitiveness in the market using data-driven insights.
- Design new global benefits schemes (insured and non-insured)
- Manage key relationships with brokers and insurance carriers/providers for new benefits and to ensure high quality service levels.
- Lead annual benefits renewal negotiations with providers, ensuring the best possible rates for employees and business alike.
- Explore opportunities to gain global leverage for benefits where feasible and assess global pooling options.
- Ensure benefits and retirement selections are compliant with governing country regulations and establish a process to maintain compliance.
- Work with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Governance, and the leadership team to provide analytical reports for ad hoc benefits initiatives.
- Act as a key point of contact for HR on all benefits related queries, providing knowledge, guidance and subject matter expertise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal developments related to employee benefits, and recommend enhancements or changes to existing programs as necessary.
- Harmonisation of benefits for newly acquired entity.
- Ensure all the changes of benefits are updated on the intranet.
- Serve as back up support for the Head of Reward in times of absence and support Special projects as required in Reward.
- Substantial experience in global benefits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex benefits data and make sound recommendations.
- Experience managing benefits across multiple markets for a global organisation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to set goals and manage deadlines to drive benefits plan designs.
- Proficient in evaluating and making informed, data-driven decisions on proposals (RFPs).
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain benefits concepts to employees at all levels.
- Proficient in HRIS and benefits administration systems, with a strong understanding of technology tools used in benefits management.
- Able to own their work, as well as working within a wider team.
