Location: Leicester, split between home-based and community hubs in Leicester. Reasonable travel expenses will be covered from home base to community hubs.
Salary: £24,840 – £27,600 per annum

About Us
Cycling UK is the UK’s cycling charity, and we believe cycling can transform lives and communities. Our vision is of a happier, healthier, and cleaner world because more people cycle.
The Role
Making cycling e-asier is an exciting new scheme funded by the Department for Transport and run by Cycling UK and partners. As a behaviour change officer you will help to make e-cycling a regular part of daily life. Delivering events within community, workplace, and education settings you will be engaging with beneficiaries to support and signpost them to opportunities driving the uptake in e-cycle use. You will deliver activities such as ‘skills’ sessions or long-term e-cycles loans from top brands such as Raleigh, Specialized, Islabikes, Brompton and many more.
Can you inspire and motivate people to use e-cycles, cycle more and create impactful change?
The Candidate
Creative, solutions-focussed, and motivated, you must be able to set your own priorities and deliver these within tight timescales. First-hand experience in engaging and working with community-based organisations, social enterprises, the voluntary sector, or statutory public services will be beneficial, but not essential. This knowledge might be from past work experience, or it could be that your hobbies and interests revolve around volunteering within your community.
Planning and logistics will be an important part of your role as you will be managing a fleet of premium e-cycles, so you will need to be highly organised and proactive.
If you have the qualities, skills, and experience to fulfil this vital role, and would like to help drive the e-cycle programme, tell us!
