Artisa Spa is currently recruiting experienced beauty therapists who specialise in waxing hair removal using hot and strip wax, facial treatments and body scrubs. In addition, basic massage knowledge and experience in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage are required.

SHIFTS & AVAILABILITY:

• We offer 6-hour shifts only.
• Monday to Saturday shifts: 4 pm - 10 pm
• Sunday shifts: 3 pm - 8 pm
• There are no guaranteed breaks during these shifts.
• Flexible availability will guarantee you more shifts.
• We issue the rota two months in advance. So once the shifts you've agreed to have been published, you are expected to honour them on time.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• You must be proficient in waxing and should be able to carry out a perfect Hollywood in no more than 20 minutes; both waxing knowledge and experience are necessary.
• You must be able to provide basic massage treatments like relaxing and deep tissue massage.
• You must be able to communicate well in English. This skill is a requirement (we will accept nothing less).
• You must be able to work under pressure.
• You must be qualified to live, work, and practice beauty and massage treatments (if applicable) in the UK.

CONTRACT & PAYMENT

• Payment is £22/hr of massage provided and £18/hr for waxing & beauty treatments, with a £50 minimum guarantee per shift. You do not get paid for time waiting for clients.
• Your payment will increase by £1/hr for every year you stay with our company.
• This is a six-month services contract so you will be self-employed.
• Payments are made weekly to your bank account every Thursday.
• First two weeks are kept as a security deposit and paid back to you once you've served your notice.

Responsibilities and Duties:

You will consult with our clients to understand their treatment goals, manage their expectations, provide effective beauty treatments and advise them on their condition and how our services can help.

You must be able to advocate and explain treatment plans (where beneficial), schedule follow-up appointments at the optimum frequency, provide quality aftercare advice, and build relationships with each client.

We expect you to grow and maintain a client base by supporting our clients through their individual needs and by upselling further regular treatment plans and packages at a frequency that offers preventative care.

You are responsible for the professionalism required to provide consistent and effective treatments and self-care habits and present in the necessary physical, mental and emotional state. Investing in skill gaps will enable you to enjoy a fully booked schedule within two weeks of joining our team.

We promise to furnish you with all the necessary equipment, marketing, services and facilities to grow and maintain a fully booked schedule within Artisa Spa.

Our general manager is available for advice on client care, knowledge sharing and skills in client relationship management.
