Job title: Bay Logistics Operator
Location: RAF Lossiemouth
Salary: £27,126+ dependent on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring accuracy of data input to both manual and electronic registers
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation; specifically, Mil Part 145
- Day to day movement and accountability of all assets in line with the schedule
- Controlling aircraft spares through aircraft regulators in accordance with current regulations
- Processing asset demands, issuing stock and receiving R2 (unserviceable) asset into Bay’s
- Maintaining and upkeep of bay logistics registers
- Submitting transport requests
- Processing R2 (unserviceable) asset thought the Asset gateway ready for repair
Your skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of Supply Chain
- Requirement for close liaison and working with the core Engineering and Logistics teams across TyTAN
- IT Literate & numerate – proficient with Microsoft platforms
- Recognised MJDI qualification would be advantageous
- Awareness and knowledge of MAOS145

The BAE Systems Logistic Support team:
Reporting to the Bay Logistics Co-ordinator the Logistics Support – Off Aircraft Maintenance Bays operator is responsible for the control of assets and spares undergoing maintenance in the RAF Lossiemouth Off Aircraft Maintenance Bays. You will be working to support the Typhoon Aircraft programme and this is a great development opportunity for the successful candidate
