Bartender – JKS Restaurants – Thai concept
Salary - Up to £15 ph
Schedule - Full Time
Experience - 1 year in a quality Restaurant or Bar
JKS are seeking a Bartender to join the team for their latest Thai concept. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bartender looking for a new role in an award winning, critically acclaimed group.
Battersea Power Station
The third Thai restaurant from JKS and Luke Farrell set to open in Battersea Power station will pay tribute to the enchanting mountains and jungles surrounding Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.
Luke has spent over 15 years in Thailand, and training and working in kitchens across South East Asia. Alongside his extensive culinary learnings, over the years he has also acquired hundreds of cuttings and seeds which he has cultivated back at his own nursery, Ryewater, in Dorset. This has allowed him to dutifully grow and recreate his favourite regional cuisines of Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and China. Plaza Khao Gaeng, Luke’s debut restaurant is a celebration of Southern Thai cuisine and Speedboat bar transports you to the bustling late-night canteens of Bangkok’s own Chinatown.
The Position
The right Bartender will be passionate and knowledgeable about beers, whisky and cocktails, and have a good background in high volume restaurants and bars, whilst delivering exceptional guest experiences with personality and flair.
The Successful Bartender will have:
- Prior experience as a Bartender within a high-quality restaurant or bar;
- Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
- A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
- Passion for beverage, food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
- The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group;
