Requirements
THE ROLE
We are looking for an energetic and engaging Bartender who will ensure the smooth front and heart of house operations and create exceptional guest experiences at our venue in The O2, Greenwich. If you think you have what it takes to create surprise and delight moments, fantastic experiences and make someone's day apply now.
Specifically, we are looking for:
- A great attitude and work ethic, if you can bring this, we’ll help with the rest
- Quick learner and ability to work under pressure and in what can be a stressful environment at times!
- Punctual & reliable, a real team player
- Experience working in a bar and making drinks
- Flexibility to work Friday, Saturdays and Sundays!
- Someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in (and help out other departments and teammates!)
- Someone who is 18 years plus (as you will be dealing with alcohol)
You will be responsible for:
- Having a warm and welcoming approach towards guests; a willingness and desire to make people happy and deliver genuine and memorable experiences
- Confidently provide knowledge and drink recommendations to guests
- Making sure the bar is fully stocked and tidy at all times
- Supporting Barbacks as and when necessary
- Taking drink orders and card payment from guests
- Making delicious drinks to TOCA Social standards
- Coaching junior members of the team
- Being aware of legal regulations; verifying guest age when necessary by checking ID cards
We are passionate about training and developing all of our teammates to support career progression. You may therefore also receive training across other departments to support the venue as and when necessary.
