Job description
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Ensure that the bar area is clean and well-stocked with supplies
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
- Familiarity with the food industry, including brewing, banquet, or food service experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Excellent communication skills to effectively take orders and provide recommendations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
