A brand new Nakanojo restaurant has opened in Marylebone London just 2 minutes from Selfridges.

We’re seeking amazing talent to join our thriving team! We have a further 4 locations opening in London within the next 12 months and we’re looking for great energy, passion and skilled team members to join our crusade!

Responsibilities:

  • Beverage Preparation: Skillfully craft a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty drinks, using precise measurements and quality ingredients.
  • Menu Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of our drink menu, including ingredients, profiles, and presentation techniques, in order to provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries.
  • Customer Service: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, provide attentive service, and engage in professional and courteous interactions. Ensure all customer requests and concerns are addressed promptly and to their satisfaction.
  • Order Taking: Efficiently take and process drink orders, both at the bar and from servers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Adhere to all relevant legal drinking age requirements.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times, including the preparation and stocking of garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies. Follow proper hygiene and safety standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service delivery. Coordinate with the kitchen to fulfill drink orders in a timely manner.
  • Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell beverages and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and contribute to revenue generation.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, monitoring stock, and reporting shortages to the management team. Participate in regular stocktaking and restocking activities
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, mixology techniques, and new drink offerings. Proactively seek opportunities for self-improvement and attend training sessions as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support fellow team members
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and hospitality industry trends

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour
