JOB TITLE: Bartender (Drinks Dispenser)
DEPARTMENT: Front of House
REPORTS TO: Bar Supervisor
OVERALL SUMMARY
The role of “Bartender” is predominantly focused on the preparation of the drinks menu and to deliver an “above and beyond” experience at Etci Mehmet; from monitoring the quality of the drinks offer to ensuring operations are in compliance with Etci Mehmet policies and procedures.
This role requires a varied skill set, where the “Bartender” must provide fantastic and courteous section management in line with company policy and procedure in parallel to liaising with other departments to optimise efficiency within the business. It is imperative that the team remain focused on their specific duties for the shift.
KEY OBJECTIVES
1) Drive for excellence in the delivery of the drinks offer through ensuring standards are maintained at all times.
2) Proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
3) Ensuring the safety of guests and the team is a key priority of the business.
4) Liaising with the Bar Supervisor receiving constructive, respectful, and consistent feedback in order to improve the overall business performance.
SPECIFIC DUTIES (This is not an exhaustive list of duties)
● To arrive punctually for rostered shifts and follow the company absence policy.
● Understand duties for the shift.
● Complete daily Health and Safety/Maintenance checks and report any issues.
● Ensure the business is “Show Ready” before opening, and throughout the shift.
● Consistently communicate with other members of the Bar Team.
● Resolve any issues that arise in an efficient and courteous manner.
● Monitor stock levels and report any issues where necessary.
● Monitor drinks quality throughout the shift and notify the Supervisor where necessary.
● Ensure appropriate breaks are taken to comply with employment law.
● Respectfully communicate with guests and effectively respond to requests.
CLOSING DUTIES
● Check all closing duties have been completed.
● Report any stocking requirements in preparation for the next shift.
● Ensure all appropriate equipment has been turned off.
● Check with the Supervisor that all duties have been completed.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £6.70-£12.00 per hour

Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
