Our Food and Beverage department is looking for a Bartender to join their team. This role is a key one for the team as you understand how important it is for the bars to have what our guests want. You will have a keen interest in working for a busy bar.

Responsibilities
- Warm and welcoming demeanour, you greet guests and are helpful wherever you are in the hotel
- Ensure the bars are stocked for and throughout service, you are thoughtful and proactive.
- Maintains a clean and tidy working environment, you show understanding of cleanliness and Birch cleaning requirements.
- Is knowledgeable with products, you learn as you go and are preparing for your bartender role.
- Shows and interest in developing their bar skills, you ask questions and want to know more.
- Ability to pair great beverages with our outstanding food
- Experienced cocktail maker with a good understanding of mixology and passionate about using produce gown on site
- Communicates with guests to pair them with the ideal beverage through understanding the flavours and feelings they enjoy
- Excellent product knowledge, you love to know the history of the beverage you are serving
- Understands the importance of cleanliness and accurate recording.
- Stocks and bar control measures
- Shows and interest in developing their bar skills, you ask questions and want to know more.
- Follow all relevant health and safety regulations
- Work and co-operate with other team members to ensure that all food being served to our guests meets the desired standards
- Provide excellent customer service to the guests
- Be curious about our guests, build relationships, and leave them wanting to come back
- Own guests’ feedback, whether that’s good or bad, share it with the team. If things go bad, do something about it. If they go well, celebrate
- Treat everyone with genuine care
