Position Overview: As our talented barista, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our valued customers. Working alongside a passionate team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your coffee expertise and contribute to the warm and inviting atmosphere we strive to create. From brewing delicious sustainable vegan coffee to engaging with customers, your skills and dedication will help make The Yew Tree a go-to destination for coffee lovers in Lyndhurst.
What We're Looking For:

  • A skilled barista with a deep understanding of different coffee beans, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles.
  • A passion for sustainability and a desire to promote conscious living through coffee.
  • Creativity and the ability to craft visually stunning latte art.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment for all.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers and collaborate with the team.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Prior barista experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of delicious sustainable vegan coffee beverages with precision and consistency.
  • Create visually appealing latte art to delight our customers' senses.
  • Engage with customers, taking the time to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new and exciting coffee offerings that align with our sustainability values.
