All pastries are lovingly baked on the premises every morning, and our fresh bread is baked daily by our sister company, Alforno Bakery & Cafe. Working with us, you will enjoy a team focused on hospitality and service and want to have fun while earning some money. Full-time and part-time hours available.

The Barista provides customers excellent customer service and efficiently prepares high-quality coffees and other beverages. The primary responsibilities are to know the standard drink recipes and be able to make them quickly and accurately. Baristas will take drink orders, serve beverages, and collect money. Filling drink orders placed by servers for customers to be served. Arranging ingredients, dairy products, and barware, washed glasses and cleaned the coffee bar. Stocking the bar by bringing coffee beans, teas, flavouring ingredients, and other bar supplies from the storeroom to the coffee bar. Ensuring the general cleanliness and other duties as required.
What we are looking for
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of two years of direct customer service experience is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to make excellent sales to achieve performance in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Motivated and creative team player
- Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Excellent listening skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
- Ability to work individually and as a part of a team

- This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
- Must transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Exposure to extremely hot and extremely cold liquids, barware etc.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
