Our store, SUNTEA Ackroyd, is located at 8211 Ackroyd Rd #140, Richmond, BC V6X 3K8, and we are seeking full-time employees (shift leaders orientated) who can handle the demands of a fast-paced environment. We require our employees to learn at least two positions and have previous experience working in a tea shop. We are looking for individuals who are available for flexible scheduling, but our shifts are primarily in the evenings, with current working hours being from 10:30am/11:30am/12pm to 6pm for morning shifts, and 6pm to approximately 12:30am for evening shifts.
Our store is currently experiencing extremely high volume, and as a result, we have very high expectations for our employees in terms of standards, particularly with regard to cleanliness, customer service, and quality control. We require our employees to maintain a clean and organized storefront and kitchen, and to provide prompt and courteous service to our customers. In addition, we require our employees to follow our strict quality control standards to ensure that our products are consistently of the highest quality.
Store manager position is still open, and will be selected from Shift leaders

Wage:
- Rate: $15.65/hour during training for the first position
- Rate: $16/hour after completing training for one position
- Rate: $17/hour after learning two positions
- Rate: $17.50/hour after learning three positions
- Shift leader wage: $18.50/hour
- Payment: Pay by direct deposit or paper cheque every 2 weeks
Tips:
- No tips during training period
- Learn one position to receive 50% tips rate
- Learn two positions to receive 100% tips rate
- Learn three positions to receive 150% tips rate
- Shift leader who learns three positions and can manage the store will receive 175% tips rate
Working Shift Requirements:
- Full-Time requirement: At least 5 shifts per week
- Two positions required to practice
- Management position requires full position practice
- Immigration: Must fulfill the Full-Time requirement and depends on personal performance
Work Position and Duties:
- Learn and work in at least two positions: Barista, Kitchen, or Cashier
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Effectively lead a team and maintain a positive work environment
- Take orders from customers, phone, and delivery platforms accurately
- Handle orders to customers
- Fill toppings, pick & pack products
- Make dessert products
- Maintain storefront, shaker station, and kitchen clean and organized
- Prepare fresh fruit toppings
- Prepare toppings and tea
- Wash dishes
- Maintain inventory organized and dump garbage/cardboards
- Required to lift up to a 15kg pot
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a bubble tea shop is required
- Must be available to work primarily evening shifts
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Must be reliable and punctual
