Job description

Do you enjoy a customer facing, friendly and welcoming role, selling to customers and providing a fast, efficient and excellent service? The position include:-

• Taking customer orders.
• Serving meals/drinks to customers.
• Operating the coffee machine, blender and other cafe equipment etc.
• Making barista style coffees.
• Restocking of products/supplies and product display presentation.
• Loves a customer service role, delivered with excellence.
• Efficient table clearing and cleaning.
• Confident, friendly, and outgoing character
• Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance to safety requirements and food hygiene regulations.
• Managing all payment transactions in accordance with the financial policies and procedures. Handling transactions with diligence, honesty and integrity.
• Supporting colleagues at peak times and to undertaking any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Ensuring safety and sanitation practices
• Ensuring excellent presentation of served food and drinks.
• Ensuring all stock and supplies are stored properly.
• Ensuring personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene.

Essential Skills / Experience:

• Have catering experience and have worked in a similar position
• Maturity and attention to detail, Must be 18+ years old for licencing purposes
• Excellent organisational skills
• Be IT literate for use of electronic till systems
• Have a high level of integrity and honesty
• Be self-motivated and can use own initiative.
• Work well as part of a team
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to work efficiently and quickly under pressure
• Have high standards of personal hygiene
• Barista experience welcomed , training provided
