The responsibilities of this position include:
- Greets and connects with customers providing excellent service.
- Discovers customer needs and appropriately suggests products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.
- Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages, whole bean and merchandise sales.
- Responds to customer needs and thanks every customer.
- Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
- Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks, blended beverages and Coffee of the Day as per Starbucks standards.
- Follows store policies and procedures for operational flow/ deployment at each station.
- Performs daily tasks in accordance with the Duty Rosters and cleaning standards and works as a store team player.
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
- Perform equipment maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance checklist.
- Follow cash handling, register policies and accounting policies
- Follow all Marriott policies and procedures as outlined in hotel manual.
- Learn and demonstrate all performance standards by completing Initial Store Training for Baristas with a passing score.
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll offer us:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and fosters a cultureof respect and positivity.
- Minimum of one year experience in Food & Beverage.
- Previous experience in a Starbucks or similar environment an asset
- Energetic, motivated, team player.
- Knowledge of Micros preferred.
- Part-Time: Must be available to work various shift morning, evenings, and Holidays- minimum 3 shifts per week (must include both weekend days and 1 weekday)
