INDIA CHAAT HOUSE is a place where family and friends gather to create magical memories. We are looking for someone that has a passion for baking to join and make their team. The successful candidate will assist with preparation for our MENU with the potential to remain on staff throughout our busy season if it is the right fit.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of general food practices, ingredients and professional standards
- Regularly baking products such as pies, muffins, tarts, cakes, jams, scones, Patties and other FUSION products
- Prepare fudge products
- Update displays and menu boards as necessary
- Provide assistance to and share knowledge with other staff members
- Actively promote the INDIA CHAAT HOUSE as a brand
- Display knowledge of our business policies, procedures and practices
- Responsible for setting up and cleaning up/washing any utensils or supplies used for course of daily work.
- Work with other kitchen staff to ensure the baked goods quality and range is to the highest standards to meet customer demands.
- Maintain the safety of staff and customers by upholding the company brand and standards.
- Assist with stock rotation.
- Be able to conduct opening and closing duties.
- Provide delightful customer service.
- Provide support to the whole kitchen team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in baking and customer service.
- Be able to lift 25kg
