Chance Cafe is a small locally owned cafe located on Commercial Street and Victoria Drive. We are seeking a full-time, outgoing and personable Store Manager for a fast-paced café. We are excited about all the products we serve and want to form great relationships with our customers. We take great pride in providing excellent customer service and food/drinks.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on day-to-day operations
• Making drinks and food as requested
• Maintain accountability for quality and consistency in customer experience, compliance through safety and clean practices
• Create a comfortable, happy atmosphere for customers and team
• Train and schedule team members
• Manage social media accounts
• Assist with marketing, sales and promotions
• Organizing campaigns and developing strategies
• Ensure the highest quality products and customer service
• Inventory control management
• Bring your passion and smile
• Upon other duties

Required experience:

• One-year experience as cashier and barista
• Experience using POS system
• Attentive to detail
• Dependable
• Team-player and self-sufficient to work independently
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Able to work flexible shifts

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required certification:

• Food Safe Level I Certificate
• Serving it Right Certificate

Required language:

English, fluent (written & spoken)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Salary: $16.75-$18.50 per hour
