Job description

We are looking for a barista who is friendly, passionate about coffee, and loves to engage with customers. Our barista will kindly greet guests, take orders and accept payments, along with preparing & serving food and drinks. We offer competitive wages and tips + training. Requirements & responsibilities

• Able to work flexible hours
• Welcoming customers, informing them about specials and new items, and accepting orders and payments.
• Preparing foods, such as panini or baked goods, grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Taking inventory and restocking items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter
• Ability to walk, stand or bend for extended periods
• Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Take out garbage
• Ability to lift up to 45lbs
• Cleaning and restocking work, dining areas, washrooms, windows, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils & mopping floors

Experience

• Barista: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

• Food Safe Level 1 (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: From $16.75 per hour
