Speciality Coffee Shop (in Toronto's first real estate café)
We work with the best quality ingredients and most up-to-date coffee equipment and want to serve the best quality specialty coffee and foods in the high-scale cafes. We are serving locally roasted coffee from our supplier in Toronto from beans world wide.
The barista is at the forefront of the Brewing Brokers experience. The barista is responsible to provide a welcoming and pleasant visit. It is a priority to create an outstanding cafe experience that branches further than just handing off a drink.
As a barista your job is to prioritize the following responsibilities, this requires the ability to multitask with ease.
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Educate customers on the menu
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Prepare drinks according to the Ethica’s standards
- Recommend products based on customer’s preferences and needs
- Up-selling on retail products
- Maintain a clean looking workspace
- Handle equipment with care
Requirements:
- At least 2-years of experience in the Specialty Coffee Industry
- Advanced Latte Art skills
- Comfortable with working with POS
- Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Have a desire for personal development and a willingness to learn new skills
- Have no boundaries in collaboration and innovation, with the ability to inspire team members and customers
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude and a genuine sense of humour. You are somebody who prioritizes kindness and consideration for the team

Salary: $16.50-$21.00 per hour
