Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and attention to detail, including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistent quality.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and milk frothers, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following health and safety guidelines.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing customers with receipts when necessary.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist in the daily operations including restocking supplies and ingredients.
- Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn and improve your skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Flexibility to work weekends
