BARISTA JOB DESCRIPTION

The Barista has the necessary skills to deliver the Bafarat experience to our guest. The Barista is instrumental in building customer relationships and fostering a positive and friendly store environment. He/she is a leader provides support to new team members and assist in their training. The Barista performs all his/her duties in a professional manner. He/she is expected to educate and ensure that all company and local rules and regulations are followed by the team.

· Provides outstanding customer service.

· Has good knowledge of our products and their production method.

· Never stops learning and expanding his/her knowledge on coffee, tea and all bar products and new trends.

· Increases sales and performs upselling and cross selling.

· Maintains the high quality of service and products as expected by B Hospitality and Bafarat cafe.

· Follows all Company drink recipes and procedures.

· Reports all customer complaints to the Operations Manager

· Responds to any guest inquiries concerning our products, history and brand

· Maintains efficient, friendly service standards and demonstrates such standards when training other team members.

· Restocks all bar amenities as required and places orders to suppliers

· Is responsible to maintain bar cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

· Maintains all back of the house areas involving bar operations clean and tidy and properly stocked.

· Preparing and serving products following the recipes and standards of Bafarat Café.

· Selling products, informing our guests about our products and services, upselling and crosselling.

· Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve product quality.

· Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.

· Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.

· Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: £10.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Barista experience: 1 year (required)
  • customer service: 1 year (preferred)
