Absolute Taste are looking for a passionate Barista to join the Absolute Taste Team at our stunning fixed site at Mercedes-Benz World in Brooklands.
We are searching for an engaging Barista who is passionate about food and beverage preparation and education. The Barista will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders and accept payments, and prepare and serve food and drinks. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentation.
As a Barista you will:
Welcome customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.- Preparing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
- Clean and restock work/dining areas.
- Running orders from the kitchen to the tables
- Update signage and displays to attract customers.
- Take inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
- Opportunity to work on some of our events, or in our Bistro.
To succeed as a Barista, you should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite.
The Role
The role will be on a casual basis and will cover various shifts.
The shifts will include weekend work and will be on a variable basis but usually between the times of 08.30 and 17.30.
Availability Mon to Sunday is required between 8:30 and 17:30.
There will also be the possibility of working on some of our many varied events, in our Bistro or staff restaurant.
Hourly rate from £9.50 per hour depending on experience
