We are currently seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to assist with the day to day running our various bars, all located within St Martins Lane. A good knowledge of cocktails and excellent service skills is a must. You will be responsible for delivering an Engaging Dynamic Guest Experience.
About the Role:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Assistant Beverage Manager, the ideal candidate will help us optimise guest satisfaction through consistent high operating standards, and to carry out management shifts and take responsibility for entire operations across the different bars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and oversee the running of the bars within the hotel.
- Maintain a high customer profile, and handle promptly and courteously all guest comments, questions, complaints, requests and enquiries, taking the necessary action steps and ensuring thorough follow-through.
- Focus on quality and consistency in all areas, food and beverage quality, guest service, cleanliness.
- Create and maintain a personal and respectful rapport with regular guests.
- Maintain standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms and appearance of team.
- Ensuring that orders for supplies are completed, delivered and accounted for.
- Attend daily line-ups/weekly meetings, and other meetings as required/ requested.
- Maintain and build communication with other departments.
- Promote creativity and innovation with your team especially in regards to the production of new beverages.
- Ensure that all staff within the department works in a manner which is safe and unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to selves or others.
About You:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experienced as a Bar Supervisor within a 4/5 star hotel or equivalent.
- Excellent level of English verbal and written.
- Knowledge of point of sale systems and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Possesses the ability to lead.
- Friendly and approachable manner.
