Adventure Cinema - The UK’s largest outdoor cinema provider, are looking for new staff to join our team for 2023!
Our events consist of a large cinema screen and sound system, with attendees sitting on the grass or on camping chairs, at beautiful historic houses and parks across the UK.
This year we are adding a bar / retail point to some of our events and we are looking for friendly staff to assist the bar manager in delivering the best possible service and experience for our guests. The bar will serve canned drinks, hot drinks, snacks, sweets and merchandise. Other than the 'push button' coffee machine, no pouring or food preparation is required.
The role will involve travelling all over the UK, working at at our three day events every weekend from April - October, with some additional mid-week events during the school summer holidays.
Each weekend starts and ends at the company warehouse in Cardiff so a close proximity to South Wales is necessary. Whilst at events, accommodation will be provided at a local AirBnB and we also offer £30 per day food expenses on top of the day rate
The job will include:
- Unloading and loading a van
- Setup and pack down of the bar at each location
- Serving customers
- Stock taking
Desired abilities (not essential)
- Previous bar or retail experience
- Customer service experience
- UK driving license
Initial term April – October 2023
Job Types: Temporary contract, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £150.00-£200.00 per day
